The book details the ancestral lineage of Michel Koder of 1540 from Gaufelden-Tailfingen, Duchy of Württemberg in Germany and his 11 generations and 450 years of Koder/Coder descendents. It includes heraldry, family trees, name indexes, photos, records, and stories from these families. While every piece of ancestral research is a work in progress, and future editions will reveal greater detail in the life and times of people, the 1st Edition contains over 250 individuals and 55 families that can trace their line to Michel Koder.The reader will follow a long trail of families, documents, and stories that reach from the Renaissance period of the 1500's, the Lutheran reformation and Duchy Wars of Germany, Immigration to America, the American Revolution, Civil War, the Gold Rush to the west, the Great Depression, World War I and II, and into the beginning of the 21st century.
