Robert V. Remini won the National Book Award for the third volume of his definitive biography of Andrew Jackson and is the author of biographies of Henry Clay, Daniel Webster, and others. He is Professor of History Emeritus and Research Professor of Humanities Emeritus at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Remini is the official Historian of the House of Representatives. He lives in Wilmette, Illinois.
