Animal Eyes in the Night

Drawn from her childhood in rural Virginia, the poems in this collection invite the reader to explore the dichotomy between the real and the unreal, the human world and that world which is beyond us, glimpsed fleeting through the eyes of the animals which inhabit our world yet live in a realm all their own, a world which only small children can truly understand. Sometimes when these worlds touch, there comes a moment of knowing, of seeing beyond; other times, only darkness. This then, is the journey to find the way forward and the way back to remembrance without losing the path either way.
