1902. This book is an epitome of some of the most remarkable and leading tenets in the faith of the Hindu people, illustrating their priapic rites and phallic principles. It was suggested to the author to compile this treatise, which, without professing to be an abridgment of the Hindu sacred writings, should convey in a concise form an epitome of the information that has been obtained with respect to the leading dogmas of the Brahminical superstition.
