Thomas Williams is Professor of Philosophy at the University of South Florida. His research interests are in medieval philosophy and theology (especially Augustine, Anselm, Aquinas, and Duns Scotus) and the philosophy of religion. His recent work includes a translation of Augustine's Confessions, The Cambridge Companion to Medieval Ethics, and John Duns Scotus: Selected Writings on Ethics.
