Army Girl

Army Girl is centered upon Mary Devstenia, an Army Reservist who has been fated to play out a scenario perhaps determined by God Himself. Or maybe not! The story is replete with supernatural characters, not the least of whom are Pam, the drug abusing, bisexual daughter of that Heavenly Father as well as the bane of her brother's (Jesus') post-resurrection existence, and the main antagonist, Chi, who is also of other than mortal substance. Nonetheless the story is decidedly human, primarily tracing Mary's development from motherless child, through her deployment, her killing while in Iraq of a mother and daughter who are driving a car loaded with C-4, her return to Troy, NY, her hometown, and the inevitable circumstances of her possibly heroic fate.
