Auger and his best friend Rig want nothing more in the whole world than to be crowned the camp king, and he's willing to do what it takes to get his prize. But with the help of a local village girl and her mystical friend, Auger learns that the real prize isn't always a trophy.

Join Auger the Logger on his quest in the forest of Southeast Alaska and learn about logging camp life, native culture and Alaskan lore as he does battle with a pesky Jay bird and what appears to be a string of misfortune in his race toward the title.

Bucka Buckner was born and raised in Southeast Alaska. She grew up enjoying the character and characters of small-town life as well as the wilds and wildlife of the Alaskan rainforest.
