Behind the Desert

On January 16, 1992, while confined to a cold prison cell, Yolanda Atkins Cotton heard a voice. The voice was God's, and it said that he had chosen Yolanda before she was in her mother's womb for a specific purpose. Before she could fulfill that purpose, however, she had to allow God to remake her a difficult process for a recovering sinner. "Behind the Desert" is an honest account of the trials one Christian faced as she learned to walk upright in the Lord.
