Len Ettinger has been a registered geologist and licensed attorney in the state of Idaho for more than 30 years, and is the author of four books, "The Amateur Archaeologist in the Great Basin," "The Rockhound and Prospector's Bible," "The Best of Virginia City," and "U.S. 395 Travelguide--Reno to Los Angeles." A Nevada resident since 1984, he now lives near Virginia City with his wife, Ann, and a fat tuxedo cat by the name of Charlie.
