Billy's Bedtime Adventures is the story of Billy, a young boy who hates to go to bed. Absolutely hates it. His mother suggests using his imagination at bedtime. Billy's lying quietly in bed that first night, wholly certain that this is a whole lot of clap trap nonsense, when the unthinkable happens. Outside his window is a flying, talking, two-humped camel named Lumpy Jetstream, worldwide adventurer, who's not so great with directions and only eats foods starting with the same letter all week. In the opening story, Lumpy's only eating foods that start with P - pickles, peaches and pork rinds for starters. Lumpy's recently lost his sidekick to boarding school in Alaska and needs a replacement, so he invites Billy to come along on these adventures. Here's an excerpt: Now Billy had a BIG problem. There was NO way Mom was going to let him jet off to Mexico City to a carnival on the back of a lost, talking, two-humped camel in the middle of the night!! Then he remembered - this was HIS adventure in his imagination. And it was just beginning...
