Biomaterials for Mems

This book serves as a guide for practicing engineers, researchers and students interested in MEMS devices using biomaterials and biomedical applications that use these devices. It is also suitable engineers and researchers who are interested in MEMS and applications but do not have the necessary background in biomaterials. This book highlights important features and issues of biomaterials that have been used in the MEMS and biomedical areas. Mu Chiao is an assistant professor in the department of mechanical engineering at the University of British Columbia. He lives in Vancouver, British Columbia. JC Chiao is a professor of electrical engineering at the University of Texas–Arlington. He is an associate editor for the Journal of Nanomedical Science and Engineering and a member of the editorial board of Journal Nanomedicine: Nanotechnology, Biology and Medicine. He lives in Arlington, Texas.
