Bolzano's Theoretical Philosophy An Introduction

The first book in English to offer a systematic survey of Bolzano#x19;s philosophical logic and theory of knowledge, it offers a reconstruction of Bolzano#x19;s views on a series of key issues: the analysis of meaning, generality, analyticity, logical consequence, mathematical demonstration and knowledge by virtue of meaning.

Sandra Lapointe is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Kansas State University, USA, where she has been teaching philosophy since 2005. She is Commonwealth alumna and Fellow of the Humboldt Foundation. Her publications include Qu'est-ce quel'analyse? (2008), Bolzano contre Kant: Le nouvel Anti-Kant (2006) and a number of other books, articles and book chapters. She is a founding associate editor of the Journal for the History of Analytical Philosophy.
