Monsters Don't Scuba Dive

The new swimming instructor at Camp Lone Wolf, Nessie McFarland, has a strange attraction to the water. And when the kids hear that the Loch Ness monster has gone missing from Scotland, they get a funny feeling. The Loch Ness monster is described as black and skinny with a long neck and a little head which sounds a lot like Nessie in her scuba gear. But Nessie couldnÂ’t really be a monster, could she?

Debbie Dadey and Marcia Thornton Jones have fun writing stories together. When they both worked at an elementary school in Lexington, Kentucky, Debbie was the school librarian and Marcia was a teacher. During their lunch break in the school cafeteria, they came up with the idea of the Bailey School kids. Recently Debbie and her family moved to Plano, Texas. Marcia and her husband still live in Kentucky where she continues to teach. How do these authors still write together? They talk on the phone and use computers and fax machines!
