An astounding 21st century sci-fi classic, packed with sci-fi/horror/adventure, with constant chapter-to-chapter action and a dynamic finish, in the style of a major sci-fi movie! An entity/life form, from beyond the boundaries of space and time, enters the universe, at a gateway, at the center of the universe, and voyages to the far reaches of the universe, but, on its exploration of the galaxy, crashes into the surface of the Earth. Archaeologists discover it, millions of years later, in its form of spacecraft, beneath the ruins of a castle, over a sea cliff. They take it away, on a ship, and they soon start to discover that it is far more than they thought. They unveil its strange, perfectly symmetrical, black structure, from under the rock encrusting it. It has a small flying saucer shape, but, with its force field on, it resembles a block of black stone. The mechanism to open the entrance is unwittingly activated, and the small hole that mysteriously appears in it reveals that it is a form of alien spacecraft. A silver sphere in it gives them telepathic control of it, and they learn many of its functions (including that it has artificial intelligence). A vital control is damaged, sending it hurtling into space, and it plunges into the stars, with them trapped on board, trying to repair it. In the depths of the universe they encounter weird life forms (including one with the dimensions of a small galaxy - floating in a deep abyss - left from the big bang). It travels endlessly on, to the gateway, at the center of the universe, where it voyages beyond space and time - to where it came from.
