Tedda, a West Gotha citizen, has committed a terrible crime that she cannot even remember--because her memories of her treason, and the love affair that led to it, have been selectively wiped clean. In their world, Tedda buys and sells railroads, hotels, houses, boardwalks--and lives. Soon, her own life is in play--as is her heart, when she meets a mysterious, handsome, dangerous rule with an unfathomable agenda spanning worlds.
