Dead Roses for a Blue Lady : A Sonja Blue Collection

Previously available only in an ultra-limited-edition hardcover, Dead Roses for a Blue Lady collects eight tales of Sanja Blue, all by the vampire/vampire-hunter's creator Nancy A. Collins. These tales include the hard-to-find "Vampire King of the Goth Chicks" and "Some Velvet Morning" along with tales original to this collection, such as "Knifepoint," "Tender Tigers" and "The None-such Horror."

Nancy A. Collins is the author of several novels and numerous short stories, as well as having served a two-year stint as a writer for DC Comics' Swamp Thing. A recipient of the Horror Writers Association's Bram Stoker Award, the British Fantasy Society's Icarus Award, and the Deathrealm Award, as well as a nominee for the Eisner, International Horror Guild, and World Fantasy Awards, her works include Knuckles and Tales: A Southern Neo-Gothic Collection, Sunglasses After Dark, and Darkest Heart. Dead Roses for a Blue Lady features her cult character, Sonja Blue, which has been optioned for film and television development. Ms. Collins currently makes her home in Atlanta with her husband, underground artist/provocateur Joe Christ, and their two dogs, Scrapple and Trixie.
