Brahminy

Reissue of a novel for older children, first published 1995. Interweaving information about the environment and ecology of the Northern Territory, it tells the story of a boy - Luke - and the Brahminy kite he has raised from an abandoned nestling. When Luke is lost in the bush, it is Brahminy who guides him home, and when the bird is trapped in poacher's nets it is Luke, in turn, who saves his life.
