British Trade Unions, 1707-1918, Part II

This set reproduces in facsimile the many significant, yet hard-to-find, pamphlets, essays, articles and letters on this theme from this important period in British history: from the early Eighteenth Century, through the turbulent decades of industrial revolution, the formation of the Labour Party at the turn of the last century, culminating in the end of the Great War. Though much of the material originates from the trade unions themselves, a substantial portion emanates from critics and supporters of trade unionism writing from outside the movement.
