Bullyanna

This book tells the story of a girl whose classmates called her Bullyanna because of the way she acted toward them. With the help of her school counselor she goes on a journey of self-discovery and realizes that she can be a role model for other kids by showing respect and having a positive attitude. This book is a great supplement to teach character education to elementary school students. Words that rhyme and vibrant pictures are used to demonstrate the importance of developing good character.

Jackie Scott-Bell, is a professional school counselor. She earned a Master of Education in counseling and development at George Mason University. She has served as a mentor to new counselors and has educated hundreds of students in the areas of social/emotional learning, academic development and career readiness.
