The Cakrasamvara Tantra (the Discourse of Sri Heruka): Editions of the Sanskrit and Tibetan Texts

This is a companion volume to the author's study and translation of TheCakrasamvara Tantra (AIBS 2007). It includes an introductory essay on the textualhistory of the Cakrasamvara Tantra, a critical edition of the Sanskrit text, basedupon available manuscripts, commentaries, and intertexts in the Buddhist explanatorytantras; a critical edition of the standard Prajñ?k?rti-Mardo revised Tibetantranslation, based upon seven print redactions; a diplomatic edition of theSumatik?rti-Malgyo revised translation, as preserved in the Phug-brag manuscriptKangyur; and an edition of the extracanonical Sumatik?rti-Mardo translation, basedupon two surviving prints.
