The Canvas

Loosely based on the true story of Binjamin Wilkormirski, The Canvas, published in flip-book format, is unique reading experience comprised of two inter-related narratives that meet at the literal center of the book. Minsky (the Wilkormirski character) is the link between the story of Amnon Zichroni, a psychoanalyst in Zurich who can experience other people¿s memories and encourages Minsky to write a book about his Nazi death camp experiences, and the story of Jan Wechsler, a journalist with memory problems who receives a suitcase connected to a trip he can¿t remember taking to Israel that also involves Minsky¿s book. A mind-bending investigation of memory, identity, truth, and delusion, The Canvas is one of the singular publishing events of 2012¿a novel whose message is modified by how, physically, the reader decides to read it.
