Dan Murphy holds a Masters of Science Education with a major in Outdoor Teacher Education from Northern Illinois University and has co-authored two textbooks. He is a certified canoeing instructor with outdoor interests ranging from alpine skiing and backpacking to sea kayaking Jim Price lives in Paradise, a small town just outside St. John's, Newfoundland and has paddled almost every river in the province. Owner of Eastern Edge Outfitters Limited, he divides his time between teaching canoe and kayak courses, guiding trips and working as a Resource Planner with the Dept. of Natural Resources Kevin Redmond has paddled in most areas of the province and beyond. He holds a Masters degree in Physical education, is recognized as a Master Instructor by the Canadian Recreational Canoeing Association (CRCA) and is the past chairperson of the National Technical and Program Development Committee for the CRCA
