Mike Lawrence is one of the world's outstanding players, in addition to being a leading author and teacher. At 48 he has already compiled an impressive list of accomplishments. His holding of more than fifteen thousand master points places him in the top twenty of the all-time ACBL list. His National triumphs include the Vanderbilt (5 times), the Reisinger (4), the Men's Team (2), the Spingold, Life Masters Pairs, and Life Masters Men's Pairs. He has also won three World Championships (Stockholm 1970, Taiwan 1971 and Jamaica 1987) and placed second in the world twice (Miami 1972 and Brazil 1973), as well as over 100 Regional wins
