DOMINIEK HOENS teaches philosophy of art at the Royal Academy for Fine Arts in Ghent, Belgium and is an advising researcher at the Jan van Eyck Academy in the Netherlands.

SIGI JOTTKANDT is a researcher at the Jan van Eyck Academy and the author of Acting Beautifully: Henry James and the Ethical Aesthetic.

GERT BUELENS is Associate Professor of English at Ghent University, Belgium. He is the author of several books, including Henry James and the Aliens: in Possession of the American Scene.
