Stuart Atkinson has been fascinated by space and astronomy since watching the moon landings as a small child. He has been writing and editing books about astronomy and space for almost 30 years, runs several astronomical societies, and on a clear night he can be found gazing up at the stars with his cat.

While studying architecture at university, Brendan Kearney realized he didn't like rulers. He also discovered that drawing pictures for a living was a legitimate and fun career option, and so traded architecture for illustration as quickly as he could. He specializes in children's books and artwork.
