Rushing through the forest, Celia stumbled. Looking down, she saw a leg sticking out through the underbrush. Filled with panic, she continued her headlong flight. The stagecoach would pass by any minute now. Once settled in the coach, she once again tried to understand her sister's wish to marry her off so quickly and to a man so much older than herself. A loveless marriage! She could not bear it. Once at her aunt's she would begin a new life. But, could she? Little did she know that she would be accused of criminal assault, and, that the man she loved was most likely planning to marry someone else. Would she end up unloved and bringing shame to the family name?
