Carolyn Frary attended the Rhode Island School of Design where she increased her knowledge and skills of all types of art. Having enjoyed working clay since early childhood, Carolyn decided she wanted to focus exclusively on ceramics as her line of work, and that she wanted to work from home, so she opned a home studio and named it Island Screech.
