Cherokee Summer

Set in 1960's Alabama, two young boys, learn the ways of nature after they are befriended by an elderly native American. After a summer of hilarious misadventures, involving giant catfish, Cherokee ceremony, and unforgettable characters, the youngsters bond with the last Cherokee in north Alabama. Their friendship compels the boys to make a promise that they hope they never have to keep. Their solemn vow sends them on an adventure across rural Alabama toward an uncertain fate.
