China's Military Faces the Future

The future orientation and capabilities of the Chinese military, of great significance for policymakers, journalists, and scholars, is already a major issue in U.S. foreign policy. This volume, the most up-to-date assessment by specialists of the Chinese military, pays particular attention to the future orientation of the People's Liberation Army.
