What are the levels of government? How can I be an active citizen? These questions and more are answered in Civics, one of six titles in the Social Studies Essential Skills series. These titles provide insight into key concepts that students must know to develop a greater understanding of content. Using easy-to-read text, colorful images and illustrations, students will gain knowledge of map, chart, and graph reading, develop critical thinking skills, learn to examine primary source documents, and understand citizenship.
