Climate Change Effects on Groundwater Resources: A Global Synthesis of Findings and Recommendations

The GRAPHIC project, a UNESCO-led global network of scientists dedicated to achieving a better understanding of how groundwater interacts with the global water cycle and, in turn, responds to the impacts of climate change, has resulted in the publication of a number of case studies conducted over the last years. These studies are covering a wide range of scientific methods, and geographical and climatic settings. The IAH Commission on Groundwater and Climate is one of the close partners of GRAPHIC and various activities have been organized jointly. This volume contains the scientific results and conclusions from these case studies and derived policy recommendations carrying the outcomes to the wider hydrogeological community.
