The Collection Agency Files

Blending historical facts and alternative history themes, The Collection Agency Files is the story of an all-powerful “collection agency” in Nazi Germany – told against the backdrop of an encompassing evil more dangerous and long-lasting than the Nazis – and the mystery-thriller adventures of one pivotal agent’s “work” in the midst of the rise and collapse of the Thousand Year Reich.

Michael Mirolla is the author of a clutch of novels, plays, short story collections and books of poetry. He has been awarded three Bressani Prizes for the novel Berlin (2010), the poetry collection The House on 14th Avenue (2014) and the short story collection, Lessons in Relationship Dyads (2016). This is his third book with Exile, following Paradise Island and Other Galaxies (2020) and The Photographer in Search of Death (2017). Born in Italy and raised in Montreal, Michael now lives in Hamilton, Ontario.
