Comeuppance

Four unprincipled professionals plot the trial of an experimental drug on a stroke victim. The patient in Comeuppance, a respected scientist, nearly dies as a result of the treatment, but it is the plotters who end up getting payback. This intimate novel is filled with powerful characters who pit medical experimentation against ethics. The story opens in the university town of Dunedin, New Zealand, then moves to Oxford, England, before returning to Dunedin and Greymouth, located on the picturesque West Coast of New Zealand. Author Graham Bishop is a New Zealander, who has spent much as of his life in Dunedin. He has traveled widely, and has also lived in Australia and the United States. Bishop has been writing for many years and published his first story when he was 17.
