Community Policing: International Patterns and Comparative Perspectives

While drawing attention to the globalization phenomenon in community policing, this book underscores the idea that as a philosophy, community policing means different things to different people. Contributing authors, selected from across the world for their reputations as experts are either directors of national police institutes, heads of criminal justice departments, or professors in police administration and criminal justice.
