Compass Rose

In 2056, a devastating civil war shatters the United States into five distinct, tightly controlled nations: Northwest America, Confederacy, United North, Texas, and the New Republic. When twenty-year-old college student Emily Caring is caught in the crossfire, her family is torn apart— her father wrongfully imprisoned, her mother and youngest brother forced into a labor camp, and her middle brother vanished without a trace. Years later, living under the oppressive regime of the New Republic, Emily crosses paths with Ben, a disillusioned citizen eager for change. Together, they form an underground cell of rebels to infiltrate the regime's inner circle, uncover the truth behind their family's destruction, and ignite a nationwide movement for genuine equality and systemic reform. Written for fans of high-stakes dystopian fiction, this gripping narrative explores political corruption, familial resilience, and the true cost of leadership in a fractured world.
