Follow the line that walks through the pages of this story, open the flaps and count the objects that are hidden in its tangled web. Without ever leaving the page, the line will draw a room, a garden, a city..., until it returns to the protagonist's room where the story began. A hobby inspired by the work of two great masters of this unique illustration technique: Paul Klee and Saul Steinberg.

Luisa Vera graduated with a degree in fine arts and moved to New York, where she continued her illustration studies at the School of Visual Arts. Since 1990, she has dedicated herself professionally to illustration, collaborating with media outlets such as The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Dallas Morning News, The Wall Street Journal, The International Herald Tibune, La Vanguardia, and El País. She has also illustrated book covers, posters, catalogues, children's stories, and exhibitions.
