Dr. Clayton Niles is not the best psychiatrist in Austin, TX. He isn't even the twenty-second best. In fact he falls pretty much near the bottom of a very long list. He has three ex-wives, a collection of patients who belong in a psychiatric hospital and of late he is suffering from a case of unmitigated, subliminal greed. What he does not need is a ten million dollar temptation which will bring that voracity to the surface, and put him in harm's way. But that is exactly what occurs when billionaire Edgar Pelican convinces Clayton to travel to Germany in search of Edgar's missing son; Roger; one of Clayton's former patients. Dr. Niles does not mind being shot, drowned, beaten and forcibly intoxicated during his search for Roger Pelican. What is really killing Clayton is not being able to convince his latest love-interest that a woman's pulse is best taken at thigh level.THIS IS A WORK OF FICTION.
