Creativity Ethics and Excellence in Science

Scientific creativity is moral creativity when it promotes human well-being, improves his environment, and enriches the meaning that we find in life. Hence, the moral issues surrounding creativity deserve to be party of the study of professional ethics in science and science-based professions, including issues about intellectual virtues, serendipity and moral luck, paradoxes of moral motivation, scientific misconduct and forbidden knowledge, and creative teaching and leadership in science.
