Deleuze and New Technology

In a world where our lives are increasingly mediated by technologies it is surprising that more attention is not paid to the work of Gilles Deleuze. This is especially strange given Deleuze's often explicit focus and reliance on the machine and the technological. Mark Poster is Professor of History at the University of California, Irvine, where he teaches in History and Film and Media Studies. He is the author of numerous books, including What's the Matter with the Internet and Information Please. David Savat is a lecturer in Communication Studies at the University of Western Australia. His research interests are focused on political theory, and specifically on examining politics in a digital age.
