Desert Gardens : A Photographic Tour of the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum

The Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum is a world-renowned zoo, natural history museum and botanical garden set in the Tucson Mountains outside Tucson, AZ. Their ecogological exhibits feature native plants and animals together and recreates the natural landscape of the Sonora Desert Region. The beautifully photographed full-color coffee table book takes readers through the history, landscapes and gardens of the Sonora Desert. The natural gardens simulate nature and highlight the more than 1400 plants and grasses found throughout the desert region.
