Dignity and Duties of the Priest

This is a photographic reprint and faithful to the original. Saint Alphonsus wrote his famous work called 'The Selva' now in reprint at 'The Dignities and Duties of the Priest'. "St. Bernard observes that when our Lord intrusted his sheep to St. Peter, he said: "Feed my sheep; do not milk nor sheer them." The duties of the priest are sublime and necessary to the Church as Saint Alphonsus demonstrates. He instructs priests how to be holy men and 'other Christs', as is their sublime calling.
