The Discovered Self

There was a little boy who was taken away from home and placed in the hands of an asexual dominatrix. She tried to purify his "evil" soul, becoming the first in a long line of presumed authorities to fail. In his teens Ian returned home, only to fulfil the worst fears of his parents, his culture and, eventually, even his own. Follow him on a linguistic trip through abuse, crime, ecstacy and penitence as he tries to figure out how to please his sporadic saviour, God.
