Disney Syndrome

Parents that allow their children to watch fairy-tales alone, often repeating the same movie over and over again are exposing them to the worse form of manipulation that exists nowadays. Children are extremely vulnerable in early ages to this kind of brainwashing, which later ends up not only affecting their future but also conditioning their entire life in a fatalistic form. "I don't deserve", "It's not for me" or "I don't have what is needed", are all expressions, feelings and thoughts that dominate the mind of a person affected by the effects of such mind control program. Disney Syndrome, Fairy Tale Syndrome or Princess Syndrome are presently clearly described mental diseases increasingly common in modern societies, all of them revealing behaviors that can have transcending symptoms in-between. However, another reason justifying adults with such diseases can be seen in romantic movies and novels, which insist in repeating the same mind programming strategy. It is not the intention of this book to provide a psychiatric explanation of the phenomena, which in fact tends to assume multiple interpretations, making the diagnosis often difficult as well as merely based on fairy-tales concepts. Instead, this book intends to provide a wider approach of this form of mind manipulation, as well as help parents in analyzing the dangers before they even start to manifest. This is also a book dedicated to help those that feel hopeless or unable to get a proper relationship, as the recognition of the problem represent the first and most important step to solve it.
