Dreams & Drawings

This book is a compilation of works that bring reason to fantasy, wonder to imagination and allows us to visit the fascinating mind of M. Estes. The concepts and theories are supported by wonderful black and white drawings that long for your own story to weave them together and wild guesses to flush them out. Dreams and Drawings was born out of the ideas that found home on the pages and pages of drawings created for the pure enjoyment of creating them. Together surrealism, fantasy and story telling lay down concept and theory in a language with few words. Certainly a worthwhile source for breaking the mundane and finding a unique place to spend time.

Artist and illustrator, M. Estes, has been quietly and diligently producing unique work since she was a young child. She sold her first work to the school principal. She has been employed with museums and art centers as well as state counsels through the national endowment for the arts. The genre of surrealism and fantasy are most often used to describe her work. She creates 2 and 3 dimensional pieces as well as murals and books.
