Mark Parker is a Professor of English at James Madison University. His publications include Literary Magazines and British Romanticism and a select edition of Noctes Ambrosianae. Deborah Parker is a Professor of Italian at the University of Virginia. Her books include Commentary and Ideology, Bronzino: Renaissance Painter as Poet, and Michelangelo and the Art of Letter Writing. She is the general editor of The World of Dante (www.worldofdante.org), a multimedia archive for the teaching and study of The Divine Comedy.
