Eugene K. Brunner was an adventurer, explorer and treasure-hunter that devoted the majority of his life in Ecuador to researching the country's history and geology while exploring it's jungles, mountains, rivers and ocean. It was generally conceded that Brunner had the best chance of eventually discovering the lost Inca Treasure hidden deep within the Llanganati Mountains. Brunner was perhaps the only expert in this field and his research was thorough, painstaking, and accurate.
