Abbas Omar is a chair-professor and chair of the Microwave and Communication Engineering Department at the Otto-von-Guericke University in Magdeburg, Germany. He holds an M.Sc. in electrical engineering from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, and a Dr.Ing. in electrical engineering from the Technical University of Hamburg in Germany.
