Elizabeth Taylor The Life of a Hollywood Legend

This is obviously a "hot off the presses" presentation, and it shows. Mostly full page shots, many in color, but the quality of the reproductions are a little grainy and not that exciting. Several full pages of a single comment (white comment against a black background, but with one or two sentences - think of how they could have used more photos or text. Minimum text, if you could call it that. Some errors - a picture with Janet Leigh (with others) is identified as Debbie Reynolds! At end she mentions Taylor had 3 perfumes when in actuality there are more than 8 fragrances. The People Magazine and Life Tributes have far more information, much more interesting shots, and far more text, and the quality of the paper vastly superior. To be quite honest there are about 4 pictures I like, and I think I will cut them out and throw the rest of the book away! Amazon offers it for less than $8.00, so it may be worth it to you, but I certainly wouldn't pay the full price of $14.95. I am hoping somewhere down the line a real nice photographic book comes along that covers all her career including her jewelry and perfume to say nothing of her charitable work. Too bad "My Love Affair with Jewlery" is now out of print.
