Enabling Student Learning

There is a growing need in higher education to provide more guidance and support for students to help them learn. This book explores a range of strategies, both institutional and individual, which have been developed by academic and support staff, to foster the kind of atmosphere, facilities and attitudes which support students in their learning. This book uses case studies to illustrate a range of methods, including: computer-aided support; modular schemes; personal and peer review systems; study support initiatives; and student induction.
