Environmental Forensics

Environmental forensics is the use of scientific techniques to identify and apportion the source or sources, age and timing of a contaminant into the environment. This book is a well organised snapshot of the International Network of Environmental Forensics (INEF) conference held in Cambridge, UK in 2011. INEF was founded in 2008 for the express purpose of providing a forum for interested parties to share the state of the art information regarding the use of environmental forensics and present the latest examples and case studies in this area. Drawing from global experiences, this book will appeal to scientists, environmental consultants, regulators and attorneys with an interest in the emerging areas and uses of environmental forensic techniques as applied in actual situations.
